1) The website does not seem to load properly (e.g., there are images or text missing). What should I do?
Answer: First, you should wait about a half hour and then attempt to access the site again. This will allow any website maintenance that may be ongoing to finish. If this does not work, check the web browser that you are using. The website should work on both IE 7.0 and Mozilla 3.0.8 and above. If you are using a different browser that may be the source of your problem.
Both IE and Mozilla are free so you should first attempt to dowload the current version and then try the website again. If you are still having problems after attempting these solutions, please email projectclose@gmail.com with a detailed description of the problem you encountered.
2) I cannot log into the study I am participating in...
Answer: Please check to make sure you are using the correct login information. The information is case sensitive so please make sure you are typing everything in correctly and do not have the caps lock on. You might also want to wait a half hour or so and try again in case the website is undergoing maintenance. 1) I forgot the password I need for the study. What should I do?
Answer: We typically send each participant an email with the username and password they need for a study. Please check your email (and the junk-mail folder as well) for an email from projectclose@gmai.com. If you signed up via SONA systems, the password is sometimes listed in the study description on that site. If you still cannot find the password, please email projectclose@gmail.com.
2) I am signed up for a study for credit (on SONA), but I already have all the credits I need. Can I get paid for the study instead?
Answer: Unless the study description indicates that payment is an option, you can only participate in the study for credit.
